Westfield is a town in Aroostook County, incorporated on March 7, 1905 from Westfield Plantation. It is composed of two half-township originally dedicated to helping schools in Massachusetts: the Deerfield Academy Grant and the Westfield Academy Grant.
Westfield village lies between U.S. Routes 1 and 1A just north of Mars Hill in Aroostook County's potato country.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 40.3 square miles (104.5 km2), of which, 40.3 square miles (104.4 km2) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km2) of it (0.10%) is water.
